Keith Mann

chief impact educator

Keith, a former elementary educator at The Homestead School (Glen Spey, NY) & The Willow School (Gladstone, NJ), is the Co-Founder & Lead Educator of Cause 4 Kids.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communications from Muhlenberg College, with teaching credentials in NJ and PA for Elementary education. He received his Master’s Degree in Literacy Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education and is in the process of getting his Lower Elementary Montessori credentials through West Side Montessori School Teacher Education Program. Keith’s love of experiential learning, both inside and outside of the classroom, helps him challenge learners to think critically about complex systems & work together to solve the problems of today and the future. It’s his goal to make an impact on others by inspiring creative, driven minds of all ages to view the world in new and exciting ways, using shared experiences to connect with and make a difference in each other and our communities.

In his “down” time, Keith trains and competes internationally as a defender for the United States National Amputee Soccer Team. He enjoys sharing the joy of movement and the outdoors with others. Keith lives with his wife, Sam, and dog, Johnny, in Milford, PA.

Sam Dietz

chief impact strategist

Sam is a growth advisor, impact strategist, dot connector, and the founder of the #Impactivists ✌️❤️

She co-founded Cause 4 Kids with her husband, Keith, after spending the last 15+ years building brands & communities through strategic marketing that highlights authenticity & human connection and emphasizes the importance of relationship-building. As a neurodiverse female, Sam is passionate about empowering people to think and feel in their own, individual ways and encourages everyone -- regardless of identity-- to embrace their truest selves. She strives to create a world around her where enjoying life is as important as succeeding in it & where people support one another in their professional & life journeys, whatever that may look like.

When she’s not working, Sam enjoys thrifting shiny objects, collecting memes, spending time with her spousal (Keith) and her furry (Johnny) soulmates, & grounding herself in nature in whatever ways she can.

MELISSA CAHN

artist leader-in-residence

Melissa is an artist, a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT6), and a retired Montessori teacher (22 years). She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting and printmaking from the University of Delaware. Her passion is designing art experiences for all ages in a safe, supportive environment. She guides students in finding their own creative style through a balance of skill-building and self-expression. Past projects included art journaling, sculpture, Zentangle pattern making, painting, sewing, and jewelry making.

When she’s not testing out new art projects, Melissa is an avid Uno player and loves spending time with her spouse (Loren) and twin sons (Abraham & August).

JASON GRUBBS

scientist leader-in-residence

As the oldest of 7 and father of 2, it’s no surprise Jasson ended up with a passion for teaching under the guise of the “wax on, wax off” method of play to learn. Beats actually waxing cars also!

Since the mid-90s, Jason has been involved in vocational teaching & training, the last of which focused on engineering and statistical principles in hundreds of manufacturing plants around the globe. Rarely have great things been accomplished without failure; sometimes a LOT of it. As such, Jason’s goal is to create a safe environment for one to fail in the pursuit of learning by embracing the ignorance that drives us all to ask “Why.”

culinary creativity leader-in-residence

MIA RAMOS

With over a decade of experience mentoring and coaching young people, Mia is passionate about helping students discover their talents and express themselves. As a devoted baking and cake decorating enthusiast, she sees cake artistry as the perfect blend of science and creativity—a delicious, hands-on way to nurture imagination and connection. Mia believes that making food for others is a unique act of love, and there’s nothing more rewarding than sharing that experience with enthusiastic learners.

Through Edible Arts Lab, Mia’s goal is to inspire students to take pride in their creations, explore new techniques, and gain confidence—both in the kitchen and in themselves. Together, we’ll celebrate the joy of transforming simple ingredients into beautiful, meaningful treats that bring smiles to friends and family. — & Mia can’t wait to share the magic of edible art and foster a warm, fun, and supportive after-school community!
